Falling In With The Family

With September on her way out the door, the fall season is here in full swing and there’s so much more to enjoy than just adding pumpkin spice to everything.

JBaby, a division of JUF, knows all about that and they know how to throw a great party to usher in fall, the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashana, and Sukkot. With crafts, snacks, live music, and the infamous pop-up Sukkah, the fun can be almost anywhere, and this time they were up in Wagner Farm about 15 miles outside of the city in Glenview IL.

Kids take turns hiding in the Sukkah, a portable hut that a lot of Jewish families put up during the holiday of Sukkot. Traditionally you eat all of your meals in there but this one's made for peek-a-boo.
Sitting back and listening to the musical stylings of Ben Tatar is always a good time. If he's throwing down "Grape Jam" then you know I'm going to be up on my feet.
In addition to an actual working farm with chickens and cows, they have tractors to play on, but don't worry mom and dad, these tractors aren't going anywhere.
Flannels and hayrides go together like apples and cider, the perfect fashion for the perfect fall afternoon.
